| Tasting Notes: | The Beaulieu Vineyard 2007 Maestro Collection Beauzeaux is an intricate blend of five Mediterranean varietals, each vinified to enhance its own unique character. We destemmed the whole berries, then fermented the separate lots in open-top fermenters for about ten days. The wine was aged in a combination of French and American oak barrels for nine months. This enticing wine is full-bodied with lush aromas of blackberry, black raspberry, dark plum, spice and freshly-baked pie. On the palate, the wine is big and rich, with velvety tannins and juicy, fruit characters enhanced by vanilla toast.
