About This Wine
Deep ruby color. Powerfully aromatic, with classic Sangiovese dark cherry , subtle raspberry and briary scents, this medium-bodied wine shows a great wealth of flavor harnessed with fine supporting acidity and ripe elegant tannins. The finish is long, clean and notably intense with a minerally, dark berry aftertaste. Our 2006 Sangiovese will be a fine accompaniment to grilled meats, especially lamb, duck pasta and hard cheeses like Parmigiano Reggiano or Pecorino Toscana.
